I love macadamias. They are one of the few types of nuts that I will eat with no inhibition whatsoever, and they’re the shit when they’re raw, salted and roasted, covered in chocolate, baked in cookies, or crusted on fish. They’re fantastic, no matter how they’re prepared. My mom’s extended family goes to Hawaii for …

These are the best damn chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever eat. After a lot of trial and error, I’ve made changes to several recipes and combined different parts of recipes to get the perfect flavor and texture in a cookie. This recipe is predominantly based on the traditional Toll House recipe, but it has a …

As I’ve mentioned before, I haven’t had very much time to devote to the site lately. Well, now I have even less time. I just took a new job in Detroit, and I’ll be working several shifts per week in addition to my current medic school obligations. I’ll try my best to post here once …

We had a small party in class on Tuesday to celebrate our progress, and I decided to make these cinnamon sugar tortilla cups. The recipe comes from an old family friend (thanks Carol!), and I’ve made them several times …
